Shanti-Som Wellbeing Retreat is in the beautiful Andalucia region of Spain. Located in Monda, just 40 minutes drive from Malaga airport and 10 minutes from trendy Marbella. We can arrange airport transfers, please let us know in advance so we can make arrangements.

Where is Shanti-Som Wellbeing Retreat? 

We offer a range of retreats tailored to your needs and preferences. If you&#8217;re seeking relaxation and relief from daily stress, our Relaxation Retreat provides a peaceful escape. If you prefer moderate movement and rejuvenation, our Yoga and Pilates Retreats are perfect for clearing your mind and reconnecting with your body.
If you have specific health goals in mind, our signature Detox Retreat will reset your body with a carefully designed juice and broth diet. Meanwhile, the Weight Loss Retreat focuses on teaching sustainable, healthy eating habits for maintaining optimal weight.
The Shanti-Som Healing Retreat is for those seeking physical healing and emotional release.
All of our programs have specific inclusions to meet the needs of the guest, and include Yoga, Meditation, and spa sessions for restorative healing.

What are the differences between the Retreat programs?

To fully enjoy the benefits of our programs, there is a minimum required duration for each type of retreat. The Relaxation Retreat, our introductory program, starts with a minimum stay of one night, while the other programs require a minimum stay of three nights. The Weight Loss retreat is an exception, with a minimum stay of five nights.

Do you have a minimum night stay?

For all our Retreat programs, it&#8217;s necessary for guests to stay overnight at our estate. This allows guests to fully engage in the immersive experience, away from the usual demands of their daily lives and distractions. However, we also provide Day Retreat programs where there is no overnight stay required.

Do I need to stay at the hotel overnight?

Shanti-Som Retreat program prices start from €140/person per night.
Accommodation is additional, rates are as follows:

<li>Standard Room – starting from 170€ / night, [20sqm | Garden View with private terrace. Ideal for those who appreciate being part of our communal lounge areas and gardens]</li>
<li>Standard (Mountain View) Room – starting from 220€ / night, [20sqm | Mountain View with private terrace. Wake up with spectacular mountain views from the comfort of your outdoor terrace]</li>
<li>Shanti Suite – starting from 220€ / night, [41sqm fully equipped| located in a separate area on the Lower Ground floor with minimal natural light, no views. Although lacking a private terrace it has direct garden access and features a separate lounge area for additional space and privacy]</li>
<li>Deluxe Room – starting from 295€ / night, [32sqm  Mountain/Garden View with private terrace, walk-in closet and bathroom with bathtub and shower |  A perfect option for those seeking a little extra luxury and exceptional views]</li>
</ul>

All our rates include local tax (IVA).

What is the cost of a Retreat?

Visitors are welcome to drop by Shanti-Som for a coffee, juice, or meal. If you would like to dine in our restaurant, please make a reservation in advance. We also provide a Day Pass option for €30, which grants access to our facilities, including the heated outdoor pool, sauna, and steam room.

Can non-Retreat guests come to Shanti-Som?

Kindly be advised that our Retreat is recommended only for adults (+16) to maintain our guest privacy and our focus on holistic wellbeing and relaxation. We do welcome families with children for lunch at the hotel.

I had a wonderful experience at Shanti Som Retreat during my Pilates retreat. Everything was well-organized, and the atmosphere was peaceful and rejuvenating. The food was absolutely delicious and nutritious, well-balanced, and full of the right nutrients to keep me energized throughout the retreat. The staff was welcoming and attentive, making the whole stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this retreat for anyone looking to relax, recharge, and focus on their well-being!

Cannot explain enough how this place is just so relaxing.    We have visited many times and the "shine" just does not wear off.    From the minute you get there to the time you leave you can be at peace.

Food is wonderful, both varied and nutritious.    Every single member of staff goes above and beyond to make sure your stay there is amazing.     Truly feel we have found a paradise.

A wonderful retreat! The space is very calming and the staff are all friendly, helpful and supportive. I had daily PT sessions which were challenging but fun, as well as daily yoga and mediatation. The hike I went on in to the Spanish hills was brilliant too. The food was personally tailored to my dietary requirements (no gluten, dairy, egg) and tasted wonderful. I was able to completely switch off. I ate on my own each day, but there is a sharing table for anyone wanting company. I came away feeling energised and refreshed. I will be back!!!

I have now been to Shanti Som three times. It is my favorite place to relax and feel good. The large lobby is the perfect place to read for hours, their food and tea infusions are delicious, their entire space is relaxing and the entire staff are so warm, friendly and helpful. I also always meet like minded guests, and leave feeling incredibly energized and good. I will return for many years to come!

It was my first retreat experience and I've truly enjoyed it. The atmosphere was very relaxing and friendly, the hotel team was always there to help you and to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The place is perfect for english speaking solo travellers. The location is beautiful but you need a car/taxi to reach it and to go to other places around. The room was good although the sound isolation isn't perfect. I've also enjoyed various treatments, yoga and meditation classes. The food for lunch and dinner was amazing. I put 4 stars instead of 5 overall because during my stay there were various onsite construction works and the swimming pool didn't work also due to maintenance.
